Cone Set for Live Center

Product Info The Cone Set for Live Center consists of the two aluminum pieces.  The aluminum pieces are threaded ¾-10 and will fit other common live centers with the same threading. The large cone is 4” in diameter, and the smaller point is 1.25” diameter. The small point cone has a 60 degree tip which is typical for a live center point. This aluminum cone has a small foot print which allows for close work at the tailstock end. The large 4″ cone has a 45 degree slope on the outside and a 60 degree slope on the inside. Using the large cone allows for mounting a large opening of a hollow form turning. Reversing the large cone allows for centering  larger turning between centers or for stabilizing a turning in a chuck.
