Product Info The Axminster Woodturning GK88 Faceplate Ring is compatible with the Discovery GK88 chuck and Dovetail jaws. The faceplate ring has an internal chamfer which matches the dovetail on the GK88 dovetail Jaws (111988). A faceplate ring enables you to easily mount bowl blanks, platters and the like to ensure a firm grip of your blank while you turn. It attaches to the timber with woodscrews, placed over the jaws on the chuck and the jaws opened up inside the ring to grip it firmly in place.
