2-24S/32S Battery Repairer Maintenance 15A 20A 25A Automatic Equalizer This equalizer directly displays the sum value and voltage difference between each string. The equalizer starts compensation via a button, stops automatically once compensation is completed, and then issues an alert. It shows the voltage of each string, total voltage, maximum string voltage, minimum string voltage, maximum voltage difference from the battery pack, average voltage, balanced voltage, and the number of battery packs. It balances quickly and synchronously. Balance Settings Manual Balancing Set the voltage manually and operate. When the device is in normal status, click “Manual Balance” to modify the “Voltage Value” (the set value must be within the valid range of the current battery type). Click Confirm to discharge and balance the cells exceeding this set value, ensuring all series cells reach the same voltage as the set value. Automatic Balancing Automatic Balancing is suitable for low-speed vehicles and small-capacity battery packs. Balancing power ranges from 5% to 30%. When the device is in normal status, click “Automatic Balance” to automatically detect the maximum and minimum voltages. Discharge the higher voltages to match the minimum voltage and maintain consistency. Charge Equalization Charge Equalization (operated during charging) generally refers to adjusting the voltage of individual cells in the battery pack when the battery is half-charged. The set parameters for Charge Equalization are as follows: Balance Parameters for LiFePO4 Batteries: Single Cell Overvoltage Protection: 3.650V Single Cell Overvoltage Recovery: 3.650V Forced Balancing Voltage: 3.650V Balancing Activation Voltage: Set as the minimum value of the string voltage = V Voltage Difference for Balancing Cells: 0.005V Balancing Current Ratio: 5% ~ 100% Balance parameters of ternary lithium battery: Monomer overvoltage protection: 4.250V Monomer overvoltage recovery: 4.200V Forced equalization voltage: 4.250V Equalization start voltage: 4.000V Equalization monomer voltage difference: 0.005V Equalization current ratio: 5%~100% When charging equalization, the “battery negative pole” on the front panel of the machine must be connected to the battery pack’s general negative pole, the charger negative pole is connected to the machine’s front panel “charging negative pole”, and the charger’s positive pole is connected to the battery positive pole. Before entering the balanced state, the charging current must not exceed 25A, the charging current does not exceed 5A when it reaches a balanced start (lithium iron phosphate 3.450V/ternary lithium 4.00V), and the effect of small current balance will be better. Charge equalization need a power supply to work together. (EU and International standard AC plug can be chose) 24S use 120V power supply with 0-10A current. 32S use 135V power supply with 0-8A current. Setting instructions: Start to equalize the voltage: During the charging process of connecting to the charger, the equalization work will only start when a certain string of voltages in the battery pack is equal to the set value, and the equalization will not start when the voltage is less than this set value. After equalization is started, the charging current is recommended 5A left, small current balance effect will be better. Equalize the differential pressure of the cells: when charging equalization, the differential pressure of the cells of the battery pack will be equalized to the set value range, and the equalization work will be automatically stopped after reaching the set value range. Single overvoltage protection: During the charging equalization process, when any string in the battery pack is ≥ this set value, the system will automatically turn off the charging switch and stop charging. Single overvoltage recovery: During the charging equalization process, when a string in the battery pack is protected by overvoltage, the charging will stop. After the voltage of the high-voltage string drops below the set value, the system will turn on the charging switch again and resume charging. Compulsory balanced voltage: In any case, after setting the balanced voltage value in the “balanced setting”, return to the main interface and click the “manual balanced” button to discharge the battery pack. Within the effective voltage range, do not exceed or be less than the effective range, otherwise the battery will be over-discharged. Equalization current ratio: 5%-100% for battery clip connection, 5%-50% for adapter board, (it is recommended to use according to the actual equalization situation, over-current use will cause damage to the equalization harness).
