Product Info This Tool Rest Platform is functional and affordable. It also has a plenty of potential to provide a multitude of uses. This Tool Post Platform fits a 1″ tool post (not included here). It has internal thread at the bottom of the post hole to accept the 1/2″ UNF threads of the Woodcut Tools tools post, however any 1″ tool post will work. There are two small thumb screws to anchor the Tool Post Platform to the tool post. The platform is 5-7/8″ square. Surrounding the perimeter of the platform are 12, 1/4″ holes evenly spaces on each side and each of which are chamfered on top and bottom. These holes can be used for securing wood top platforms with #8 screws. These holes can also be used as registration holes for any other accessory you wish. Making these accessories from wood or 3d printed plastic (PLA or other) should be easy and adds versatility
