Feature Balancing Voltage (Forced Balancing) Start Voltage ≥ 3.405 ± 0.03V Stop Voltage ≤ 3.405 ± 0.03V Balancing Current: 100–500mA Over-Discharge Protection Detection Voltage 2.350 ± 0.1V Detection Delay 500–1500ms Release Voltage 2.550 ± 0.1V Discharge Overcurrent Protection Detection Current: 5 times the continuous current Detection Delay: 100–400ms Release Condition: Disconnect load / reactivate charging Short Circuit Protection Trigger Condition: External short circuit Detection Delay: 150–600μs Release Condition: Disconnect load / reactivate charging Temperature Protection Wiring Diagram The switch needs to be turned off before installation. After installation, just turn it on again. Installation instructions: 1、Assemble lithium battery pack 2、Connect the B-thick wire of the protection board to the negative terminal of the battery (the B-wire must be connected to a thick short wire) to ensure good contact, and turn off the power switch of the protection board 3、 Connecting cable (as shown in the above picture) The first black wire on the far right of the cable is B0, which is connected to the negative terminal of the battery. The second cable B1 is connected to the positive terminal of the first string of batteries, the third cable B2 is connected to the positive terminal of the second string of batteries, the fourth cable B3 is connected to the positive terminal of the third string of batteries… and so on. Attention: Before connecting the cable, be sure to unplug the cable from the board first. The wiring method is not directly related to color and is only required in order. 4、 Measure the cable outlet After connecting the ribbon cable, measure the voltage between every two adjacent ribbon cables starting from the metal head of the black B0 ribbon cable. The voltage of the polymer (ternary) battery should be less than 4.20V (recommended to be between 4.15-4.20V), and the voltage of the lithium iron phosphate battery should be less than 3.6V (recommended to be between 3.4-3.6V). After checking for accuracy, insert the ribbon cable, turn on the power switch of the protection board, and activate charging 5、 Measurement protection board Use a multimeter to measure whether the total voltage B of the battery pack is equal to the output voltage C of the protection board. Only when the protection board is equal can it work normally. If they are not equal, you can first check if there is a wrong wire connection, if the single string voltage is in normal condition, if the series connection is in good contact, and then charge and activate (or short circuit B -/C5 seconds) 6、 Connect the negative terminal of the charger and the negative terminal of the load to C -. Assembly completed! The most basic requirements for assembling lithium battery packs and the working principle of protective plates: 1. First, test the internal resistance of the individual battery cells. 2. Test the capacity of individual units. 3. Select a battery cell with consistent internal resistance and capacity, charge it to full voltage, and then assemble it. If the assembly is not carried out according to the basic requirements, it is possible that the entire set may not be fully charged or the entire set may be prematurely powered off for protection due to high individual voltage. Too low leads to the protection of the entire group. Note: Consistent individual voltage does not necessarily equate to consistent capacity, internal resistance, or electrical quantity, so it cannot replace fully charged assembly. When the voltage of a single cell in the battery pack is too high, it cannot be charged at all, and when the voltage of a single cell is too low, it will be powered off for protection. The protective board does not support serial connection with the protective board.
